Ya L8X definitely gets quote master for that. Being hit like that is one of the things i fear most. Almost had it happen about 3 months ago. Heard the squealing tires and looked in my mirror to see a car skidding towards me. The driving turned into the center turning lane to keep from hitting me. The front of the car was about in the middle of my back tire. Less then a foot to the side. Some cage driver not paying attention.

I hope that person is getting paid!

that is one of my worst nightmares. i wish there was a separate lane for bikes only.

hymm....looks to me that guy on the cruiser had pretty good brakes in order to be that dead center into that car. I get scared too, this is why i'm always in first gear and always keep a good 5 ft from the car in front of me n always looking back for that blind driver

that is one of the 2 fears that i have when riding. no control over the situation and nowhere to go if there's a car in front of you. by the way, the other biggest fear is hitting a deer.

Here in KC a few weeks ago someone was killed on a bike just like that. Drunk driver.

ouch. that happened to a friend of mine not to long ago...he didnt die, just got thrown from the bike. Got a nice check from it too.
