Okay so its not a CBR I realize that. It was cheap and my girl wants to ride. It's a 2001 YZF600R. It has around 14,000 miles on it, and it was cheap. I am willing to take a CBR for tradeif anyone wants to switch teamsWhat do you guy know about these? I don't know if there are any issues with them.

Nothing wrong with an R6 - teach her to ride on it, and when she's ready, get her a Honda - training bikes don't count ....we've all had them, and plenty weren't Hondas, including mine...he he

 

Its a carb bike......I gotta fzr1k its the year before they switched the name to yzf designation same bike more or less though,thats not an r6,its a yzf 600r totally diff,nice bike though,watch the valves they need to be adjusted after 18k,she'll love it but get her a corbin,that nanner seat is tough on the buns.....Still luv my 929 cant beat fuel injection,ive had it with them darn carbs,to touchy...

 

i just got my GF a new bike too...


100cc 2 stroke should be big enough to kick her 100pound n00b ***..ill be rubbin out the bruises later

 

+1 on the valve adjustment. My R6 needed one at 15,000 mi. I know that's not an R6 but still.

 

my friend actaully has one of these. its fun to ride and its pretty quick for what it is. my 03 f4i still stomped him. but he can usually keep up in the twisties with it.
