I bought a 1992 CBR250RR MC22 today. Its a toy project for me. I sold my F2 and have missed having an early 90's bike. I found a place that imports 250's and 400's. SO I figured why the heck not?

14 000km showing on the odo. It needs a little work here and there, but soon I'll have it shined up nice.

Thanks,

I still have my F4.. but am looking at selling it right now to get another CBR250RR or a CBR400RR. I bought the 250 as a "toy" or project to play with.. and it turns out that I have not ridden my 600 since I bought it. The 250 will hit 170-180 km/h without much effort and in the twisties is just as quick, if not quicker then your average 600. It is a riot. It is much MUCH faster then a Ninja 250 because of the higher spec inline 4 engine that revs out forever. The other bonus is the fact that I pay virtually nothing on insurance (which is mandatory in Canada... and very expensive) for the 250 compared to the 600's.

That is one sweet looking bike, if I may ask where did you get, I recently bought a CBR 125R and I want something bigger like a 250 or 400 just enough to stay under the insurance radar but enough to have that extra bit of power when I need it. Thanks James

Windbell in Vancouver is good, Milliontrading in GTA and there is Nuak in GTA. I don't recommend Nuak because he is a jerk to deal with. A genuine knob.

Stripped the lil bike down for a list of winter maintenance. About 2 feet of snow outside. :(

Tank is being repainted and coated on the inside. new fork seals, dust cover and a heavier oil. Rear shock is being revalved and a remote reservoir added. subframe is being blasted flat black. frame, polished back up to a new-like condition. Lots of cleaning.

Been a while since I posted some pics. Changed to EBC pro-lite rotors, Pazzo shorty levers. Some more things to come no doubt soon enough.

europe only?

Actually, they were never sold in Europe. The CBR250's were only sold in Japan and Australia. I got mine from an Importer in Toronto, ON (Canada).

The rotors were direct bolt on to the stock rim and use the stock brake mounts and calipers. They are fantastic. I ordered them from WE Moto in the UK.

How much did you pay for this baby? I am looking for a 250 to have some fun with and a CBR would be my #1 choice if I can afford one. Also could you provide more details about the importer? Website or Phone #. Thanks.
