Hey fellow rice burners...........recently sold my '01 929 Erion to buy a bigger toy!!!;) Still love the CBR'S and often wonder if I made the right choice.....BUT, love that speed!! I have started the mod process on my bird w/ a Ghetto stage 1 turbo w/blow-off valve and spacer plate, Yosh Stage 1 cams and sprkt as well as a few other necessary items to complete the install. I will be running a 11# spring good for around 295 to 305hp on pump gas. Wheels and brake components are to follow along with rearsets and a steering dampener. I have all ready done alot of cosmetic work(ie: hugger, undertail, dbl bbl screen...ect) These things never get cheaper do they...[:@] Anyway, I still have some parts from my CBR that I never quite got around to fully utillizing...meaning they were installed only in the latter stages prior to me selling her. They are as follows:

M4 full system w/ Ti-can high mnt.... flawless and still in original packing
I installed and never remapped maybe 200 miles No blue or dings Pd $735 asking $500 incl shipping in 48 sts only

Red Fox Hugger glossy black w/ chain grd flawless
Pd $120 shipped from England (have box info to show English postage asking $75 shipped likewise

Zero Gravity Dbl Bbl dark smoke shield....like new Pd $85 asking $50 shipped likewise

Set of blk frame sliders....never went down like new $65 asking $50 shipped likewise

I would really like to sell these parts to help fund my 'Busa...will consider a package deal with reasonable offer. I do not have a dig. camera but if customer is serious, I will take some pics and scan them and send to their e-mail or directly to house. I am a fair individual who only wants a honest deal and if unsatisfied a refund will be given upon receiving parts back. M/O OR CASHIERS CHECK ONLY. Once funds are received, I will pack very carefully and thoroughly and notify you with a UPS or Fed-EX tracking number

Thanks for your time in reading this post....keep it safe and rubber side down !!![8D]

Hi and welcome to the boards. If you have any questions on doing your turbo set up ask Chainstretcher on here. He had a pretty tricked out turbo busa before his CBR1000RR. Feel free to make a seperate post in the for sale area. Hopefully someone will take some of your CBR stuff to fund the new project. It sounds like it will be pretty sweet. Good luck with it.

What brand of frame sliders?

Interested in the ZG double bubble but I think I may have seen new ones at that price, will have to double check.

Let me know, thanks.

Hey Goose...the sliders were purchased from a local dealer and I believe they are a Lockhart Philips product. They are the black nylon(?) type material or whatever it is. They are like brand new as the bike never fell over. As for the shield, I am flexible not crooked. I believe that I bought it from a performance dealer who probably jacked up the price. If you can find it at a lower price, I will do my best to help you buy mine. Like I mentioned in my add, I will pay shipping once funds are received and contact you with the info. I need to get the shield down out of the attic and refresh my memory as to its appearance. Will wait to hear from you...also remember I will work with you on a package deal on all of it too [sm=goodidea.gif]

CBR2-

Heh, sorry, never meant to imply that you're a crook or anything like that. I think what I probably saw was a "blowout" special on one of the websites where the prices are for shields for certain bikes, and they of course would only have limited quantities (that's if they even had one for the 929). I'll check around and see what the going rate is but I think you're pretty close.

I have a personal preference for certain frame sliders, so I think that I may only be interested in the screen at this point (though that M4 is tempting;)). If you get a chance some pics of the screen would be appreciated. If you have pics of the hugger on and off the bike that might be something to consider as well.

Goose...never took anything you said personally. Was only talking in general terms. I understand how the net works and realize that there are always going to be better offers out there so we all have to be competitive. Understand the preference on sliders, I do not have a dig camera but have a scanner. I will take some pics and have them put on a disc and will send them to you. I no longer have my 929 but do have some pics with the hugger and pipe, shield as well as sliders. Will try and get that done tonight for you. Thx for your patience....[sm=groupwave.gif]

Sorry for the trouble but I'm gonna pass. Hopefully I caught ya before you did too much but I'm just gonna go with a new Puig screen. Again sorry for any inconvenience just wanted to let you know.
