yesi was wondering if i could put an f4 aftermarket header on an f4i, keep in mind that i would be willing to have a mechanic bend a little peice of pipe to make this work? any feedback would be great, thanks

should work fine as the only diff in the F4 n F4i is the FI n cosmetics.

The F4 and F4i headers are different, but interchangable so long as you also use the corresponding exhaust (you'd have to use an F4 exhaust with an F4 header). Everything is the same and it'll bolt right up, the only difference being at the very end where the midpipe slides onto the header tube, the F4 tube is bent out slightly, whereas the F4i header tube points straight back. Couldn't have said it better... i was going to do the same with a cheap full D&D that i found off an F4, and thats how i found out about the differences.

yes but it there a way to modify the stock header like cut off the bend in the f4 header and buy a straight piece and piece it in?, any ideas will be great, i am not looking for factsi am looking for solutions
