HONDACBR1000RR 02-05-2005, 01:01 AM Not a bad looking suzuki, but too bad Honda will kick it's but
Tadi_R1 02-05-2005, 01:12 AM Did you noticed that 05' GSX-R1000 and the 05' GSV-R MotoGP bike have something in common?
Do you see it yet?................Look Closely.....I take it by now you already have seen new GSX-R1000 so I won't post a picture.
Well, OK here it is, as far as I am concern they both have worst looking exhaust in their respective classes.
HONDACBR1000RR 02-05-2005, 01:16 AM What was Suzuki thinking.....that exhaust is terrible, Maybe it was done on purpose so you would go out and buy a different exhaust

:D Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Tadi_R1 02-05-2005, 01:39 AM But no worries, Suzuki owners found a great and quick way to get rid of the not so great looking exhaust.
One of the fellows was kind enough to demonstrate.

now now...let's be fair. gsxr's are great bikes. not the most flashy, but definitely solid. but not as solid as a honda! hahahahaha
speedygonzalez954RR 02-05-2005, 02:10 PM what the hell!!?? what's a suzuki doing in our forum!@#@!# :) who let this bke in here?#@!@#:D guess we still need to keep up with foreign relations, eh?
speedygonzalez954RR 02-05-2005, 03:00 PM remember.............friends don't let friends ride a suzuki! he he :)
NeonspeedRT 02-07-2005, 01:59 PM Hahahaha, I totally agree. I would love to know what the engineers at Suzuki were thinking when they designed the exhaust system for the new 1000. It's hidious. Sure it's "titanium" so it's light, but make it look decent at least.
NeonspeedRT 02-07-2005, 02:01 PM Also, I moved this to the off-topic section since it really didn't have anything to do with the cbr1000RR.
ATL_BOI_ON_22S 08-03-2005, 07:26 PM lol, I personally don't like the gixxer, but I hear the 1000 is a beast and is whipping everything stock. Is that true?
tmyers7791 02-09-2006, 03:07 PM Hey guys..ive owned both a gsxr600 and i now have an f3...just test rode a 05 600rr tho! (im thinkin bout it!) I put 30k trouble free hard riding miles on my suzuki and never had a problem. But i gotta give honda serious credit for the midrange torque i have with my F3.....but the 600rr i rode doesnt have that...all the power is up top like my old suzuki....Is this normal? (for you 600rr owners) i want a newer bike, but i spend a lot of time in the turns and i like that power down low...... :)
tmyers7791 02-09-2006, 03:09 PM I also agree with you guys...I'm not liking the design of the exhaust and tail section of the new gsxr1000...would be the first thing to go....Loud pipes save lives...lol
they might find out what good bikes they are? ;)

Hampton Strangla 07-06-2006, 01:01 AM well, somebody was smart enough to point out the fact that the exhaust is titanium. and i guess everybody failed to notice that the shape of the new gixxer's exhaust is more aerodynamic. as well as center of gravity is much better with exhaust being placed lower and more to the center. and there is no worry of having an ass heater! so there you go. i love the honda, but i also love the suzzzz. both are great bikes.
