After about 9 monyhs of researching and shoping I finally got my bike. It's a 02 f4i with vortex sliders, 2 brothers exhaust, power commander, and lowered. It does have 30k miles because of it being previous owners only means of transportation but he took good care of it. i will add more pics in the morning cause it was dark when I got it home lol

Nice looking bike keep it clean. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay so I can get an idea. If you don't want to tell me you don't have to I understand.

In the pic it had a stubby straight pipe but it has the two brothers on it now. I picked it up for $2900 from a chick who got pulled over wiithout a motorcycle license and then it sat in storage for a year. It was a little rough but I drained the gas put some fresh in with a cleaner and runs perfect! Waiting for my helmet to come from ups today and I will be out all night! Hollar at me if anyones in the central FL area. I come from a long line of DSM's before this bike and we always met up and I'd love to ride with some people around here, plus I would love to learn some riding tips since I am a noob;)

tip #1: raise the bike back up to stock height

Raise it for handelings sake? I heard that lowering it helps it to stop coming up on you. I am kinda afraid of that happening until I get some miles under my belt on it. I will probably raise it after that, unless that is a rumor about helping the front end stay down

no it'll help keep the front end down, but it's not like this thing is going to power wheelie, uncontrollably, every time you roll on. the handling is more important than the wheelieproofness of it.

yea man i bought my first bike new in june and i was all paranoid about the wheelie thing but i can lay into my bike all the way thru first and it gets a little light in the front but it doesnt come up unless i chop the throttle....but im also 200 pounds and im not sure how much of a difference it is from 200-160 but yea anyways beside all that lowered bikes look sick
