Just in casae you are still a little confused, that means the front is now a 15 and the back is a 48. That is if the -1 +2 is correct.

right, 16/46 are the stock configurations.
Now, my question is what affects as we trying to achieve by dropping or adding a tooth or two?
I can only guess that the front is how fast you go through a specific gear while the rear is for overall mph per gear... is that correct?
I know, i know... noob... but we all gotta learn somehow right?! :)

obzidian- not sure about the front changing the gear and the rear changing the mph, but i know changing either of them will have an affect on both depending on how much of a change.... i have a -2, +2 swap on my 01 and it is great for acceleration and the canyons, but sux on the freeway, turning something like 9k-10k at about 80mph

Dropping a tooth in the front is almost like adding 3 to the rear. By dropping one in the front, you can get away from adding a much larger rear sprocket, and thus keep from adding more roating mass. changes to the front and rear sprocket do the same thing, which is change the overall gear ratio.
