hi, a new member to this forum site.

im just finding my way around this site, so forgive me if you feel im asking any lame questions.

i have a cbr 600 fy ultima light (yr 2000).

can you tell me tho the differnce between a cbr600 f4 and the uk model cbr600 fy?

the reason im asking is my body work is a bit shot now from various little offs and general every day riding, and have seen some body work for sale on ebay. the link is below for any1 wanting to have a look.

Welcome to the board. I'm not sure if there is a differance in the plastics from US to non-US bikes, butI do know that the Ebay plastics do not fit right. You have to make some brakets and drill some holes to make them fit. I guess that why there are only $400.00 and not like $1200.00

 

u get what u pay,
any ideas of price and where to get a goodset of fairings (front/top, 2 side and rear).
ive had race fairings made from fibre glass, which were pretty ****e and about £350 ($700) so i dont really wanna go down that road. 2nd hand are all with lugs missing and generally, well 2nd hand!!!
