hey guys just looking for some advice. ok my buddy has a 99 r1 that runs a 9.92 at 153 in the 1/4 mile. yeah i know it is fast and will spank the crap out of me as it does busas. but i am just curious if small mods (like gearing) would allow me to keep up. i know i cant beat him or anything but it gets old just watching him pull away from me on the highway. around the city i fly right by him because he cant get any traction. if this is possible please help me out. thanks in advance.

 

Theres no way you can get anywhere near him. Only way is buy a bigger bike.

Do your gears though. I have a 99 F4 and have -1 on the front and it makes a big difference. No where near R1s though

 

I have -1 in front and +1 in back, but he will still smoke you. He has 399 more cc's of engine.

buy a 1000rr engine and slap it in there. Just dont tell him.

 

shoot his tire hell slow down. hehe. j/k i bet you could bore your bike 30 over ,get domed pistons, a 400 hp shot of nitrous and a turbo and you would smoke him. ps make sure you stretch it though that much juice will hard to be glued to the ground.
