Vortex Clip Ons installed, now throttle stuck

After my lowside, I had my mechanic install some Vortex Clip ons that I picked up for cheap. After riding around, it seems like when I'm at full lock turned to the left, the engine revs by itself. It was pretty scary and I look like a total noob when making U turns. It looks like there isn't any slack in the cable, so when I turn the handle bars all the way, its pulling on the cable making the engine rev. Any suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this?

you need to readjust your throttle cables. there should be plenty of slack. check to see where it's pinched. did he install above or below the triples?

they were installed above the tripples.

are they worth it? hmm, i got them for cheap ($50 for the set) so yah its nice. definetly wouldn't pay retail though.

yup yup...definitely a buy used item...or you can bust some R6 clip ons that does the same thing but cheaper.

so did you check for slack or lack of slack?
