So I blew my fork seals learning wheelies. I want to replace them myself but I want to wait until the weather cools off until do it. My questions is will it do any further damageif i ride the next month or 2 without replacing them? Thanks.

I wouldnt even try it! I mean depending on how bad the leak is! If it stopped leaking go for it but dont try and do any wheelies, might make the leak worse or you might bend your forks, happend to a buddy of mine! knew his forks seals where leaking popped a wheelie and bent a fork tube! you need that fork oil to help the movenment of the forks!
If i were you i would just change them right away if you can! It only cost me i think 70 bucks for a set of fork seals thru honda! and had the dealership do them... i think i paid some like 285... 3hr job got the bike next day!

I don't plan on doing wheelies for a while.

if the oil gets on your brakes your screwed (well only if you want to stop or slow down I guess)

the brake pads will absorb the oil (meaning they will be garbage) and you'll have to clean the rotors (cleaning oil off rotors is not as easy as it sounds)

i dont understand why do you need to wait for the weather to cool down before replacing your fork seals ?

if you know something is bad on your bike you really should fix it asap (usually that means waiting for money not the weather)

i think the dude is talking about waiting out a season until he will no longer can ride the bike so at that point he will fix it. then again, who knows!
anyway, i have never heard of anyonehaving catastrophes after blown seals. most people just put a ragwith zipties.

id rather take the down time now and be able to finish the riding season (which for some places is year round) safely. i wouldnt feel good about riding around on blown fork seals
