Sounds reasonable but i'd try to knock him down another couple of hundred, just in case you feel like changing the bar ends that might be scratched up etc........

If he is willing to take the sider fairings that will tell you if any real damaged has happend!!! I knew when i bought i mine it had been low sided at low mph, in fact i saw it , my bike was my buddy's!!! Anyways some people who put frame sliders on and bust em in a low side can get a whole new set of plastics and some people dont think to remove the frame sliders bolts...... just tip happend to another friend of mine!!!

I'd tell him $4000 because its going to cost you a couple hundred for a new fairing. Also, if you take the average of the KBB retail and trade in value for an 01-02 F4i, you end up getting ~$4000

If I lived anywhere near that I would be buying that right now. Low miles $1000 cheaper than what they go for here, and looks semi clean with already a nice aftermarket exhaust.

Lol. damnit.. i know that.. i dont know why it came out like that..... and sorry that the cell phone pic is low quality... the other 2002 here, the girl selling it first said 4600 then she jumped it up to 4800 for me and now she wants 5000 so i was just like screw it.. this one for 4200 has 8000 less miles too

Go for it! It seems to be a good deal to me, too. Tell that one chick to get a clue.

2bros is fine. i still say its a good deal.
start the bike up and let it go up to 225f degrees. note any cweird sound during the heating period.

make sure you wright up a contract with the guy about not having a salvaged title, engine+ tranny + forks and frame is in a good/functional condition
