my tank is building up pressure bad. i opened the gas lid and if it wasnt attached to the bike it wouldve blown off. im assuming my vent lines are clogged. i know where they go underneath...where do they connect in the tank? or anyone have a good idea how to unclog it? id like to try and unclog them myself. oh also, are both the larger and smaller line vent lines?

aslo, i used creme tank liner recently so im willin to bet that one of them got clogged with that stuff.

Underneath the tank. The pump assembly and everything is connected. If you remove it remeber to get a new base gasket.

if youre sitting on youre bike on the left side under the fairingby the stator cover theres three hoses two of them go to the tank one goes to youre radiator overflow, mine did the same thing i just opened the tank and blew through them with a air blower one was clogged one was kinked and i blew the cap off my overflow resivior but diddnt hurt anything

i actaully didn see anything come out of it. at first the air wouldnt go through and i blew of the actual vent line. then i reattached it and tried again and then all of the sudden the air came through. im guessing i got a little bit of the creme tank repair stuff in the vent line and i just had to blow it out. everything is great now
