im up for a ride any time, im trying to get this power commander installed tonight, so hopefully ill be out and about later this weekend.

Your bike will definetly rip after you get that power commander installed. I have one on mine and I love it!

i tried this weekend to get the PC on, but the bike would not start after it was installed. i have the pciiir, and i could not hook it up to the computer till i get some cords in. do you think that it needs to be hooked up first on the computer before its installed on the bike? did you put yours on yourself? i am going riding in colorado in 2 weekends and i would love to have it done by then. ahhh....so frustrating!

No mine was already on the bike when I bought it. But you can program it while it is installed on the bike I have had to remap mine before so that is how I know that. Hope this helps.

I'm from McPherson but moving to wichita in august (going to WSU). Do you wichita people evertake your bikesto the track? (Wichita International, or any track I guess)

I never have taken my bike to the track. I wanted to take to Wichita international but you need full leathers and a spine protector to run there and I do not have either. Both of those items can be expensive. I should be back from my deplyoment in August maybe we can hook up and go ride when I get back.
