I was wondering if I could use window tint on my windscreen instead of buyinga a smoked one. anyone do this?

i dunno if it'll hold up as well. in a car... the tint is on the inside of the window and doesn't get abused by rain and direct sunlight and wind. After a while, car tint will start to peel in certain areas. I'm guessing this is what's gonna happen on your bike if you do use car tint. Won't really stay on long. that's my guess.

if u do decide to do it, lemme know how it holds

I was told that the tint will actually start to eat away at the windscreen. Best to just get a new one.

I called a car tint joint a while back and they said the tint only works on glass. But you can buy tintfor theinside of your helmet visor (plastic)so I dunno.

Window film only on glass really. It will adhear to the plastic, but it won't last long, won't look good, and will lay like crap.

Just spend the few bucks for a smoked one. Check craigslist and other forum classifieds.

It would probably look crappy where you trim the edges as well, unless you have the hands of a micro surgeon.
