i went thru my first rear corsa in about 5 weeks now....about 4500 miles and it started to flatten out a bit...anyone got pilot powers? or the new CT?...how about the corsa III?
if you got those about how much mileage did you get from them??? I heard that the new multi-compounds have all the best qualities of mileage plus grip...

if you're looking for a commuter tire with a good amount of grip at the corners, i suggest the Pilot Road.

For clarification, the dual compound tires are NOT harder in the middle than the old version...the edges are just softer. A standard Power or Corsa have more than enough grip for the average rider (at the track).
800 miles a week...holy crap.
Some flat spotting isn't the end of the world...ride it to the wear bars.
You want more mileage...pilot roads (I've seen these do amazing things at the track), metzeler M3 or Z6, Pirelli Scorpion or Diablo Strada.
"Road" going tires are much better than they used to be....and are capable of a lot if you ask them nicely.

another clarification!
standard power equates roughly to a qualifier and just plain diablos.
corsas equate to the 2CT, i'm not sure of dunlop equivalent cause i no longer use them.
4500 is great mileage for a corsa. you definitely racked up lots of twist miles on them. i don't think the center itself would be able to last 4500 of combo commuting/town/twist.
another great combination is corsa front and diablo rear.
