helllll yeahhhhhh! unfortunatly I'm in Boston for school but I wanna ride in the burgh like nobodies business...Thinkin of takin a trip from boston down to pittsburgh this summer.

I'm from the Pittsburgh area.I'm in Washington, PA...about 25 miles south of Pittsburgh. There's a crew of about 10 of us (sometimes more, sometimes less)that ride all the time down hereon the weekends. My bike is currently out of commission awaiting a new rear tire and sprocket, butI'll be back on the street by next weekend. Feel free to hit me up if you feel like making a trip downhere to rideone day.

since you know the area Im really in harwick right off rt28 one exit before the mills mall - I will keep a look out for ya you bike relly stands out wit that gold pipe !

cool. i try to stay out of that area though. my ex gf is from there and i would rather not run into her. lol. let me know if you ever wanna go for a ride. we try to go on a nice long ride at least once a week. up by eau claire area lots of twisties, country roads no local cops. all patrolled by state boys up there and they never venture too far from the highway.

I am a big Steelers fan as I am originally from PA. Live in Indy now...but...go Steelers.

I'm new here. Down for a bit with a broken leg. I'm an old guy ( 50 ). I have been riding forever. Got a 954 that I am getting in shape while I heal up. Don't have any time for squids or squidley activities. I like ripping around the mountains. I am a member of C.S.B.A. ( Christian Sport Bike Riders ). There are a number of racers and very serious sport riders in our circle. GO BLACK AND GOLD.......................[sm=shades.gif]

Pittsburgh here, McKeesport to be exact...im 22 like long walks on the beach and cruising around. Southside is my weekend play ground. Me and chillstreetf4i cruise ride all the time, but I dont have time to treat the street like a track, I like my life and like to keep others around me alive, so if you down for some good ol' civil streetriding...hit us up here, pm or email is cool. I was just curious if anyone was going out to Beaver Run for the NESBA track days this weekend (Sept 8-9).
I'm going to go out Sat and try the free intro class.
I would have signed for either complete day, but I havea wedding Saturday and will probably be recovering come Sunday.

Well you didn't miss anything, or at least I don' think so given the weather we had on Sat.
I was pissed when I woke up at 5:30am to find it raining.
Needless to say, I didn't go.
NESBA is having a beginner only day Sept 29th for like $200, but you get like 6+ hours of track time.

Yeah, they have all kinds of different days for bikes listed on their website.
I was going to do the NESBA one just because it was free for 2sessions and I had a wedding that day.

I know its a lil late for this but, I'm heading out to Youngstown Quaker Steak n Lube tonight for their bike night.
I usually go to the one in Cranberry, but I heard they had 1500 bikes last week and it was a "slow" night.
They are giving away a Harley tonight so should be packed.
I'm leaving right after work and heading to Cranberry to see if anyone wants to go for something different.
Its about an hour and fifteen minutes away.

Just stumbled upon this thread....live right in the South Hills in the 'burbs, 10 minutes from being dahn tahn.

If anybody goes to Pens game, I'm pretty much at all of em. I'll be the only dude with a big red Crosby Team Canada jersey on, so I'm not hard to find.

I'm also usually at the Quaker Steak & Lube bike night on Wednesdays in Century III and sometimes I go to other locations as well.

I do go almost every Wednesday, but the people I go with varies. I don't ride in any set crew, but at a minimum it's usually at least me and my cuz on his GSX-R. PM me, I'm always down for a new riding contact.

I've never been to the one in Century III, I usually headed out to the one in Cranberry.
How packed does the one at C3 usually get?
The Cranberry one usually has the parking lot full and people on the road most nights.
Lotta decent people up there and a good mix of bikes.

I got a black/red CBR and I was on the West End Bridge at around 430ish.

Well I'm definately down to ride once I get my girl put back together.

Well, my bike is tuned up and ready for 2008 season. I think I'm going to take the advanced safety class this spring just get get refreshed. I only got to ride maybe a half dozen times last season. Unfortunately for me I cancelled my insurance over the winter and had to send in my plate etc... and now I gotta get a new plate and insurance. I'm also in the market for some new gear.I should be ready to ride within the next fewweeks. Ihope the weather gets better soon. Anyways, good to see you guys again and hope to see you out on the roads. Be safe this season and alwayswear your gear!
