I just bought a 929 (2000) and I was wondering about the fan. It kicks in at about 219 (104 C). Isn't that a bit late? I thought the thermostat is fully open at about 203F.

I think it's quite normal the fan on my bike also starts at 104 celcius.
I drive a cbr900rr 99.:)
