I got a set of SS lines off of ebay and one of them seems to have a leak... i have checked and re-checked all of the banjo fittings and the leak seems to be coming from the line itself... it is to my understanding that there is a rubber line inside of a braded ss cover, so is it possible to acctually kink the line to the point of causing a hole/tear??? Has anyone ever had a problem similar to this with their lines due to normal use???

 

What is the line for, brakes, fuel or what. It could be the fitting or washers.

 

Make sure that you removed all of the old crush washers. Doubled up washers can leak at the banjo bolts.
