I found a used 2000 600 f4i with 9,000 miles on it and thier asking $3,500 for the bike. It has a d and d pipe and the color is orange/black. what do guys think? Is thier any year 600 f4i that is better than others?

 

it's an f4... not fuel injected. f4i's began their run in 2001.
amd the price is decent.

Are you sure on the year? If it has the long banana seat regarless of year it has a carb.

The price sounds great for the year/mileage, depends where you live and supply and demand. Here in T.O. supply is low, demand is high and it's just an expensive city. That bike/mileage/price would be a steal here even with the exchange difference ;-)

 

I bet you could find a better deal if you keep looking. I just picked up my 2001 f4i with 13k miles and clean title here in CA for $3100....

 

yea your right it is a f4 not an f4i. Is thier any major differences in performance between the two?

 

yes, the f4i is fuel injected and does have more HP than the F4. the ride is a tiny bit more aggressive on the F4i, but not by much. handling wise, both are very similar.

 

go find an 01-03 F4i if you are going to go used...fuel injection is top notch compared to carb'd
