i don't know about your 954 but mine is not limited by a top speed limiter...it is limited by itself...i've only ever seen 176mph before and it has dynod at 140hp with the air filter, exhaust and power commander remapped

Only a highly modified 954 will run 186 or more. If this is just a slightly modified bike then it won't get close to 186mph.

what do you mean by "highly modded"?

Highly Modded would be Big Bore, Nitrous, ect...how fast are you trying to go?? AMA Superbikes can go about 195 MPH but the cost $150,000-$250,000 and are purpose built!!

176 is that the speedo speed or real speed 954's speedos are off 5%i found that out looking for the speedo healer

mine is geared 7 up and my speedo stopped at 185mph @ 12,000 rpm, the computer wouldn't let it hit the rev limiter in 6th. I was probably only going about 145-150 mph actual

i have -1 in front and +2 in rear, i can get the speedo saying 183, if i had a little more road/time/guts, i could prob hit 185, but the speedo is prob off, but not that much, about 5-7 mph i think -1 and -2 is a perfect setup, i would recommend trying that setup
