The previous owner of my bike had lowered it with the $30 link... so I know it works... dont know how the $70 one would change the mechanics if at all.

 

Using both might lower it too much...

 

I actuallybought my02 F4i with the 30.00 set and works just fine.

 

Well my wife got me the $70. one for Xmass I installed it today. Realy don't feel that much of a difference. I been serching around for information between the two but still no luck. Can some post up some pictures with the $20. ones installed. BTW I'm 5'4 and I'm only ball healed on my bike. Would like to get a little more foot on the ground. Thanks for any help that you can give me

 

Mine is the billet one and like it better then the two piece.. There are two settings with the two bolt holes. Top hole 1 inch drop and the second or bottom hole is the 3 inch drop.. Remember when dropping the rear you must drop the front the same amount to correct any handleing problems..Ive had mine dropped for 4 months and love it.. Huge confidents builder...

 

I'm glad to see a positive thread in regards to lowering your bike. It's sad to have to read through so many negative opinions when you're trying to get a question answered. Yes it changes handling but it doesn't destroy the bike.
