Re-using fender with new exhaust?
Hi folks first time poster. I was just wondering, if you get an after market exhaust for the 600rr 05, do i have to replace the fender and rear signal lights with an aftermarket unit or something? I want to be able to reuse it if possible. Any advice is greatful, thanks folks.
I haven't heard of an exhaust pipe that really requires removing the rear fender, or having to replace it with aftermarket parts. I have an '04 600RR and just put a Jardine RT-One S/O. And even though i do have a fender eliminator kit... the new pipe would have fit just fine with the stock fender.
I just intalled a CF Micron on my 05 and even though I have a fender eliminator kit the stock rear fender would have fit over it. Goto www.twobros.com and check out there exhaust for your bike. It is pictured with the stock fender.
Oh, just wondering. Does anyone know where i can get a yoshi pipe for 05 600rr online? I can't seem to find one anywhere, thanks. Or any recommendation for other good slip on is appreciated.
Look to the far right of the screen and you will see an ad for APEX Motorsports. The owner Tom is on this forum as Sirlimpzalot. I think he is the owner or one of them. Anyway call them and they will hook you up. They got me a great price on a Power Commander and a carbon fiber micron exhaust for my 05.
you shouldn't go yosh for honda, only suzuki and yamaha. most companies specialize in one manufacturer to meet their engine specs for optimum performance. the best for honda are two bros and jardine along with some other high-end brands. trust me, if you're looking for best bang for your buck, stick with one of these that are designed best for honda.
Look the left of these posts and find the APEX Motorsports ad. Click on it and get their phone number from the web site. Call them directly and see what their best price is. Ask for Tom. I have dealt with them and was very satisfied with their prices.
You can always goto www.twobros.com and see what they will charge you directly.
