I am thinking about getting a Rumble Concept Undertail Storm Series for my 04 F4i. Does anyone already have it (if so pictures please). I am thinking of going with the carbon fiber taillights but don't know how they look or if they fucntion as well at night. Also, how is installation. Is it another hack job type or does it go together fairly smooth? Once again pics would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah man, the rumble one worked out pretty well, as per my write up a while back that leveltwo posted ^. It's still a hack job, but worth the effort. The rumble one is quality too, good paint match also. Mine survived the wreck too! It's already been spoken for though. Here's some pics after I pulled it off if you're interested.

Thanks Dwhite. I hope u r ok after the wreck. Do you know what the carbon fiber taillights look like? Also how was the lighting once you installed the undertail. Brakes, turn signals, and license plate light very visible during the day & night. Any problems?

Thanks, I'm ok...it was about a month ago, just about back to normal...finally.
I'm not sure what the carbon fiber ones are like, never seen them in person.
The brake lights and the running tail lights (always on of course) were pretty good at day and night. The turn signals were good at night, but a little faint during the day. If I was making a turn in a sticky situation, I would use hand signals in the day time just in case. The license light was a small diode, but it worked pretty well at night, so no problems there.

I wish I had gotten that rather than the Hotbodies. 3 of the friggin LEDS were out when I hooked it up, and it seems so cheaply made.

So the brake lights were bright? I am not too worried about the turn signals too much because I may do the rear peg led install and wire amber leds to the turn signals. A buddy of mine helped me wire my truck with emergency lights, pa system and police horn. So I think I will be calling in another favor with the electrical work. Also how is the location for the lock on it.

Yeah, the brake lights worked pretty good. They're LED's, maybe 12-15 in each one. In my first pic above you can see the hole for the lock, right next to the plate bracket. The lock hole also has a key cut into it to match the lock cylinder to keep it from rotating when you turn the key.

nice ...Yea I am going to order one. I am still hung up if I want the red like yours, the clear or maybe the carbon fiber. I emailed the company for pics, but have not received a reply yet. Kind of aggravating

You know, now that I think about it, I kind of remember seeing someone else's rumble undertail on here and it had a close up. I'm not 100% sure, but it may have had the carbon look tail lights on it. Maybe try an "undertail" search or "rumble" and see if it comes up. Not sure when it was from though or in what section. I think it was on this forum though.
