it clips off, i thought about that.

How does it come off, it looks like its glass'd right onto the seat frame...

gt2nv

i made it so that it will come off. you have to take the seat off to get it off but it will unclip. the passanger seat is right under the cover still just incase i take someone a ride.

I was a little confused at first but now I think I understand. It's only a cover that you can remove at any time right?

Pretty cool idea if that's what it is. I agree with the others, I'd like to see it when you're done.

Cool man. That actually is the same design I first did, but I didn't like the flat top. Can't wait to see it completed. Good luck, I know it's time consuming and a big mess.BTW I have more images of mine before paint on page 3 of my photobucket link below

Very nice look Lunatic and nice job gt2nv. I would like to add one to my bike as well but I really do not have the time to make one. Does anyone know if there's a company that makes/sells seat cowles for our banana seats or what other option is out there? Have a good one.

http://www.1tail.com/sa/c/Solo_Seat_Cowls.htm Here is a quick one. Their are a few more sites out their. All around the same price. I am to lazy and have no fiberglass experience so I will just buy one this winter. Lucnatic and gt2nv nice job guys. You will get more gratification saying I made this myself. Very nice!

Why not? Wouldn't it clean it up better...? I'm also debating whether to remove the CBR decal and the 600f4i on the tail...

That is made of fiberglass. that is all that i did. the cool part about it is that it will just unclip when someone wants to ride. kinda a cool concept, but just to plain for me. i am going to attempt another one.

Is there a way you could take a picture of the bottom? I was wondeing how it is held on to the seat? I know you said it "clips" on but I'm a visual person so could you remove the seat and take a couple of bottom pictures?

you want pics with the cover on from the bottom. like with the seat off the motorcycle?

Ya seat off bike cover on seat and then maybe one of the bottom of the cover not on the seat! :)
