View Full Version : 01 cbrf4i decal sets
twoweels_mj 11-19-2004, 04:17 PM hey there!
Need some help or at least a point in the right direction.
Does anyone know where I can get a complete decal set for my 01 CBR F4i?
I called some local Honda dealers in my area and they want from $400-$700 for all the decals.
Each are sold separately!
Thanks for the help,
MJ

alekinci 07-03-2006, 03:57 AM I cant beleive that stickers cost so much!!! I'll rather replace the whole fairing to factory scheme for that much. Its a good scam though if you think about it.
Spike 07-03-2006, 04:17 AM It's not a scam, the decals seriously cost that much to make... I'm a graphic designer and I couldn't get any of those decals for less if I designed them myself.
You'd rather spend 600 on new fairings than 60 on the decals? Are you high?

Or you could just steal Spike's fairings and then simply peal the decals right off!
BTW, a heat gun would totally help! :D
Spike 07-03-2006, 04:35 AM Boy, just because you know me from SBN doesn't mean you can come all up in here STEALING MY SH!T! lol
FYI the decals on BOTH of my fairings are damaged so F-that! I need to get the wings without the F4i on them, that would look WAY better than stock.
hwnf4i 07-03-2006, 06:40 AM +1 for the replical kit... it is not the same as the dealer type stickers but it is a COMPLETE kit. I bought my f4i and the stickers were all messed up by some bone head trying to cut the factory stickers to make a ... shall we call it "special" decal set. for the replical kit you "should" remove all the old stickers first. The tank wings are a bit larger to cover them probably due to the clear coating and the wings on the tank are a bit different sized also.. you will have to put them on one feather of the wing at a time as well as the honda logo.. one letter at a time. This was my first attempt at installing large vinyl stickers... GET HELP INSTALLING THESE STICKERS if it is your first time. another biatch was the right lower fairing.... trying to get the wing to go smooth over that bump... I haven't even taken a chance yet at putting that top sticker on the lower fairing,,, but willl soon.... I just started putting on the decals and I am taking my time. hope this helps

Stop ur damn wheeling! Just because you have a 15 tooth front sprocket, doens't make you better than the rest of us! :D
alekinci 07-03-2006, 06:04 PM mikem317 has a valid point about stealing. I think I should follow up on that. Spike where do you live? Provide me with a map from Google, if you have time.
Spike 07-03-2006, 06:42 PM I live at... College of Staten Island 2800 Victory Boulevard • Staten Island, New York 10314
I live right near your friend, green number 37... Oh and tell your engineering buddies I said Hi.
:twofinger
alekinci 07-03-2006, 06:59 PM So, your close by! Where is the map?
I did not know they have a College of Staten Island in Florida.
Might as well add me to your buddy list.
Tiesto is the man, seen him like 4 times already.
Spike 07-03-2006, 08:42 PM LoL you think I add people to my MySpace friends who want to steal my fairings! BAH!
Actually I don't have lots of friends on there because I choose to. I only put people on there I either know in real life or talk to a lot online.
And yes there is a College of Staten Island in Florida, it's just off the coast of Daytona Beach :D
alekinci 07-04-2006, 12:32 AM Im sadden because you wish not to add me, but with time I'll heal.
tollfree969 10-21-2008, 05:51 PM Has anyone tried these ebay decals?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AI T&viewitem=&item=190253935841
They seem ok and are really cheap.
Thanks for the help.
PlayfulGod 10-21-2008, 05:56 PM I got a similar set last summer in cf vinyl. Its a thinner vinyl than factory but the ones I installed are still on and doing good after a year of riding in all sorts of wheather.
FYI tho what you see is all you get. Not stripes or big wings like on the lower fairings.
tollfree969 10-22-2008, 10:21 AM Thanks Playfulgod!
Is there a place to get new stripes? I thought I saw a set somewhere that excluded the "F4i" on the lowers that I liked.

i bought decals from that guy and they sucked. the red was pink the white wasn't white. the colors came no where near matching the original ones not even the same texture. the design was also slightly different. if your going to do the whole bike with them then i guess its okay. but if your gona just do one side go buy oem decals. in the end thats what i did.
i wouldnt buy from that guy again but he did take them back didnt really argue just said i was the first person to complain about them. gave me my money back.
Rainier 10-30-2008, 05:52 PM does anything think i can just make a wing with some red strip vinyl? i dont want the f4i part just complete the wing to match my tank.
