In my state the only difference with permits and endorsments is i cant have a passenger. With that said i am just now getting comfortable(ish) on my new 600RR. I have a MSF course in 3-4 weeks (soonest opening).
As of now i tend to ride after 7 pm on roads that arnt busy. i ride around empty parking lots using parking spaces as turns, street lights, and obsticals. Working on my slow speed turning and medium speed turns. ill ride on main roads that are well lit after 11 pm (as i read and note for myself the lights on my bike kinda suck) I am practicing throttle response and clutch action and some emergency stopping(without swerving). Is there anything else i should be looking @ practicing before my MSF course? I want to avoid the main roads during the day just to be sure i can handle the awrness required to ride without having to think about what my left foot is doing with my left hand while working my right foot and right hand (you know what i mean). Riding is not close to second nature for me and i just want some input form you all about what to work on and keep in mind. Im not an idiot and my best friend has been a rider for 7 years (too bad he lives 1700 miles away) so i do get some input form him. But the more the better. Any bad habits i need to avoid? Thanks ahead of time
Thoughts?
