I have a quick question. How much paint did you order. I figure a pint should be more than enough to paint everything with two good coats. Any other input would be good.

When reduced 1:1, you should have enough. A few things will determine this. Whether or not your using an HVLP gun, if its basecoat/clearcoat, and if its urethane based and high solids clear. If you have a color that is close to what you will be getting, you can simply apply a base coat of that before you spray your actual color coat. Also, to ensure good coverage, if you have plenty of clear, you could always throw down a flash coat of that before you spray anything. Spray pattern and gun pressure are keys to making it cover. one last thing, if you are spraying over primer, a light color usually requires more paint to cover. But what i noted in the first paragraph would work. kreush33 06-27-2006, 03:51 PM i bought a pint and still have a good amount left. I painted the side fairings a different color though, but there is still enough in the can that i would say i could have painted the fairings and still had plent left over. I sprayed silver too so it takes a couple coats to get good coverage. Ruthless 06-27-2006, 04:17 PM Pint should be fine. Don't forget clearcoat. Goodluck. 88sporty 06-28-2006, 02:31 AM http://88sporty.blogspot.com/2006/06/blog-post_26.html my picture fu is weak today.
