ive never heard of anyone talk about this brand but i can get them at a local shop for around 80...they have a steel main shaft with a delrin end cap so they wont break like an all plastic but wont grip to the asphalt like an all steel slider. plus they are extend length so they may not look as nice but seem they would offer more protection especially in the event of a low speed or even parking lot tip over. thoughts? experience? heres a link to the product page http://www.freestyleingenuity.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=18&cat=3&page=1

I know they make some alright cages. I dont see why people dont get street cages or race rails. There not all big and bulky and would protect a parking lot drop and help with a high speed drop. something like this http://www.powersstuntworks.com/railz.html

Hes saying he can get those sliders he posted the link to for $80. A FI cage wont stop a hard pancake fall man. They are good for riders who already know there tricks and hardly wreck. Begginers need a real cage for stunting. But if all you do is street ride i dont see why more people get those rails instead of sliders just seems like they would work way better

the only thign stopping me from a cage is looks. i dont like the look of slidders either but am willing to sacrifice a little for the protection plus im not really interested in stunting nor doubt i ever will be and as lame as it sounds i dont really want a cage as this will give the look of someone who can stunt...silly i know but oh well.

Thats why i suggested rails or what they call a street cage. Its like a slider that also bolts to the frame. Sliders will brake off at higher speeds i dont think those rails are going anywhere

freestyl sliders and cages are AWESOME. i sell the sliders from my shop to everyone i can. the sliders protect the whole bike. not just a little bit like all the otehrs. i have the cage on my bike. if you want to see pics check out my myspace.
