it really depends on the bike (ie. condition, mileage, mods, etc). i've seen a stock 03 go for $4700 with about 10k miles to a 04 with nice mods in great condition for close to $7000. buying at the end of "riding season" is a good idea though... can potentially save you several hundred dollars. best of luck in your search!

 

I got a deal on my CBR. Its a 04 600 RR that came with a two bros exhaust, power commander, and sportech wind screen all for 5000$ 9000 miles on it.

if you wait till about march and April youll find the best deals. At about this time everyone is looking to sell and get something new.

I paid $5K for a 2003 600-RR with 4900 miles. I almost had a 2004 with 3900 miles for $4K but the seller's paperwork didn't go through the first time and when everything was set to go someone offered more.

thks for the feedback! i was just tryin to get a range for one I'll prolly starting looking at the end of the season too, i was thinkin' maybe gixxer, lol, i kno, but ive been reading so such stuff lately, and from my experience with my cbr, I think i might just stick with Honda!

 

I paid $5,500 for an 03 with 3,000 miles with a full yosh exhaust and PC3 (bought in 05)

 

I got my RR for 2000 with 3200 miles on it. Plastics and right clip on was shot. Easy fix for me, till I cracked the block doing a stand up wheelie went bad. Another 1500 bucks later and I'll be back on the road. Still under 4 grand for the bike.
