View Full Version : Loudest Exhaust? MikeTheGremlin 04-04-2006, 04:27 AM What is the Loudest exhaust on the market for the 600 RR? and how is it performance wise USAF~AMMO 04-04-2006, 08:35 AM Man I have an Arata pipe and it is really loud, nice and deep and throaty (sp). It is a little more expensive than some but I love it!! bikermike 04-04-2006, 01:37 PM The Arata pipe is a great pipe. Ive also had a lot of people tell me to go with the M2H with P1 power tip from two brothers racing. Yoshimura RS3 or RS5 are good pipes in my book too. I think for my bike im gonna go with the two brothers racing carbon fiber..looks great and the sound is great throaty at idle and rarin to go at upper rpms, but whatever u choose its up to you man 05f4i16 04-04-2006, 04:31 PM The loudest pipes I've heard are D&D. I don't believe they're known for any major performance gains (then again slip-ons don't usually give much performance) but they are definitely one of the loudest pipes out there. cbrjunky 04-04-2006, 05:14 PM I have a Blueflame slip on titanium can on my 04 RR, I fitted it over the winter. I started the bike up next to my old CBR600FT with a Scorpion can and it was quite a bit louder than that, I'm pleased with the noise it makes, its good value for money too - the removable baffle doesn't seem to make it too much quieter either which is good and it keeps the plod & the MOT people happy with the BS stamps etc. There will be some pics of my bike loaded up soon as soon as I have finished my home made number plate hanger and indicator brackets. FordFrenzy97 04-04-2006, 07:55 PM Two Bros is what I have and it is loud. MikeTheGremlin 04-04-2006, 09:30 PM do you have any videos or sound clips of your bike josho66 04-06-2006, 06:28 AM ORIGINAL: MikeTheGremlin do you have any videos or sound clips of your bike Try a search, believe a few have been posted lately. gajardo68 04-06-2006, 07:12 PM My Jardine is loud. The guys here gave me feedback on pipes and it came down between 2bros and Jardine. Both good pipes but i narrowed down to best deal and found my Jardine for $249(slip on---aluminum race baffle). CBRgator 04-06-2006, 08:25 PM Odd follow-up question: Which one is the quietest (besides stock...obviously)? Dills 04-07-2006, 04:38 PM I thought the D & D is REAL loud but I haven't heard any of the others so I don't know how it compares. cjbettis 04-10-2006, 01:37 AM Clicky Here (http://www.cbrforum.com/m_40838/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#40838) You asked about sound clips...there you go Love my 2 Bros M2h CF -- LOUD and deep Gooseman 04-10-2006, 03:31 PM How loud do you want mate? I've had mine with a remus pipe for a month now and the noise is giving me the ****s! Don't get me wrong, it sounds beautiful, but I'll get a headache from a 2 hour ride. It sounded sweet at the Island last trackday :) If I were to buy a zorst again it would be for looks -> Two brothers but more likely the Arrows motoGP style pipes: http://img417.imageshack.us/img417/5761/600rr5qk.jpg Truckie973 04-10-2006, 03:54 PM This new Two Brothers M2 sounds sick. i really enjoy that deep sound to it ohh and its pretty loud. LUIS 1000 RR 05-14-2006, 02:47 AM THE BEST PIPE I HEARD SO FAR IS THE SATORACING.COM . I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY RIDING MY STOCK 1000 RR AND I HEARD THIS OTHER RR COMING FROM BEHIND ME I HAD TO FOLLOW HIM TO HIS EXIT JUST TO KNOW WHAT SOUNDS THAT GOOD. IM GETTING IT. gajardo68 05-14-2006, 05:47 AM my jardine is loud, i get attention, but yehhh, that arrow gp is sickkkk and sounds hella good. leo's are nice too. CBRFREEK 05-14-2006, 02:38 PM Im still partial to my 2Bros.. bobjoezx 05-14-2006, 05:22 PM loud - d&d - i had mircon, i liked it, but try to hear alot of different types and make up ur mind no1biscuit 05-18-2006, 11:35 AM I put the Jardine RT-ONE Race slip on and it is bad ass sounding. But won't make you deaf. Wellsy04 05-19-2006, 05:35 PM +1...i just put my jardine RT-One race baffle on recently and love the sound, price is a plus too! |
