I need some help. With everyones knowledge and wisdom could someone point me in the right direction. I have been doing my own maintenance and what not but last time I put my new tires on I noticed the forks where kinda cocked from the position of the wheel. I know all I did was put my bike on the stands and remove the wheel. About a week ago I let go of my bars and got alot of chatter at about 35. I put it back on the stands and compare the center line of my wheel and the postion of the bars and it seems that my wheel is pointing about 2 or 3 degrees off center. Anyone know how I can fix it. I thought about taking the wheel off lining my bars up and using a level to bring the bottom of my forks back. But not sure. Any info would be great.

Thanks Ryan

Have you hit any major bumps? Sounds like you've got a slightly bent lower leg(s). Remove the wheel and rotate each fork leg 360 and check alignment (there's a bolt hole at the very bottom of the fork and rotation will be around that axis). If the lower leg(s) are bent it's not a difficult job to replace them but they are expensive[:'(]

Only other thing that comes to mind is if your upper tubes are cocked in the triple tree.

What Bike is it you have? Could it be the clip ons slighty mis-aligned? ?

No, no hard bumps are anything. I avoid them ont he road. I rode all last year and had no problems. Will the lower legs just rotate or do I have to use something. I know how touchy suspension is, I don't want to mess anything up. I have the 1000RR '05. The thing is if I am at higher speeds she will hold a line fine, but I don't want to be cuttin the hills and find out somethings not lined up. Is there a good way to get the symmetry back for the front. Like using a level or some string or something to check it. Thanks again guys.
