Question How to winterize an 04 600 RR

I bought my 04 600 RR in April, and have been riding it consistently until now. I live right outside NYC, and its getting a bit colder...so i'm planning on keeping it in my garage for the winter.

Other than using a battery tender and properly inflating the tires, what else should I do?

Do I need a fuel stabilizer?

What about lubing up the chain / other parts before storing it for the winter?

Search the forum, im sure its been fully discssed

but you absolutely need fuel stabilizer in the tank over the winter. As for the chain, it wouldnt hurt to lube it up one last time. Just keep it away from humidity and water and ur fine. Also plug the exhaust as bugs try to find a warm home over the winter... last thing you need is a beetle crawling up to the crank case laying a nest in the cylinders
