OIl change fore track day

Oil change for track day
i switched over from mobile 1 to amsoil and it has been 1000 miles since the oil change. I signed up for track day this Sunday and checked the oil. It was a little like dark brown color. Should i change the oil and oil filter or just he oil before i hit the track.
