nice shot! so how did jules inspire you?

By posting pics of things other than motorcycles. Sometimes you have to just stop & smell the roses of life, & enjoy what there is out there. Its super easy to get caught up in a busy day-to-day routine & forget about the little things. For me, stopping at the beach just to see the sunset is great for my spirits.

Got a pic you've taken that inspires you? Post it up!!!

Beautiful picture :-)

..and yes, it's good to post non motorcycle stuff ... we all need to slow down and stop sometimes,
take in the view, see what is around us ... it's good for your spiritual welfare :-)

I love it here on those autumnal or early spring mornings when it is misty ... I will often go and sit down by the lock with my coffee and just watch it lift ... so still and peaceful, not a sound, it is quite surreal ... like being in another time :-)

Nothing and no-one is going to change who or how I am or act ... if "they"
have a problem with me, well then it's "their" problem ..and yes I feel a bit
feisty now, I have to be these days :-)

I am me and nothing is gonna change my world.....

So, on with the show ... here is another view of my favourite place :-)

This picture is actually the first one in my opening scene to "On Days Like these"

It is the top of the Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen and I live right near it ... I often go this way on my jaunts into deeper Wales and come back this way too, so you will often find me stopped just up here and watching the view ... I Love it up here, just sitting on the grass verge looking down into the valley and the road below, hearing the distant sound of a bike engine coming up the pass on the road below as I had done myself maybe ten minutes before .... then when you get those lulls in traffic, the peace and calm that descends here is perfect, just perfect ... quiet, often with a gentle breeze and very sweet smelling air .... I almost don't want to get back on the bike, indeed many times have sat here and watched the sun go down behind the mountain ... then, saunter home at a gentle pace in the twilight :-)

Welllll - I'm new at this posting pictures thing so I went to the FAQ and followed the procedure listed there. It says you can post pictures from your album by copying and pasting the BB code given under each picture. That's what I did. Since the preview showed them, and they showed up when I opened my post, I assumed that was all that was necessary.

There's more? Please enlighten me. I want to do it correctly next time.

Thanks.

Chainstretcher: Thanks for letting me know the pictures were posted correctly. A few weeks ago I posted pictures of a homebuilt laminar lip (I believe that's what it's called) in the CBR1000F section. In response to requests I promised to post pictures of the process of building one, but spaced it off. Since my pictures were put up right it's most likely that lapse in memory that is being referenced.

I shall correct that in the next few weeks.

Sorry DRam, but I'm still not seeing them. Maybe because I don't have the full "admin forum package" like chainstretcher does...lol. I normally use an image hosting website like photobucket and just copy the image links into posts and it works every time.

BTW, everyones' pics look great. Keep 'em coming!!

That is just freaky stupid. I see the pics just fine ... and no, there is no "special admin pic seeing" function. You guys are all set up to show images unless you turn it off yourself.

Whoever is not seeing the pics let me know what browser you are using. The newest Firefox is working for me as well as Internet Explorer (use it at work).

I can't see them, either. I thought I was losing it yesterday....

I'm running the latest firefox. I haven't tried on my home machine yet, but here at work I can't see them at all.... just the descriptions. My work machine is a lone comp.....not on the network.

I'm using the newest firefox. I'm at work, but I don't have any issues seeing other pics on here or seeing people's albums... so I can't imagine that is affecting it.

edit: Tried IE 7 and no luck with that either.
