Well guys here it is ... the one I spent some time making :-)

I have tried to convey in this what biking means and does for me.....

Make sure your volume is up high as the opening sequences have great sound
from the engine and again in the middle of the video ...also it doesn't end at
"Game Over!!" ..just my wee humour there ..lol ;-)

Hope you enjoy and feedback, good or bad is most welcome :-)

This is clearly your tribute to The Italian Job (the original) opening... and good job of it too! You only forgot to hire a bulldozer to push your bike over a cliff for you...lol.

Another great video Jules and very creative. The shots of you riding, and how you incorporated them in with the onboard shots, was pretty cool. What's next?... dialog and extras?? :icon_wink: Seriously, you have a real talent and should definately continue to explore it.

PS - Love those rock walls with the sharp rocks on top to remind you to ride safely...lol.

Quality video and editing, but I could not get past the music.

Try some of this next time...

thank you....

Matt Monro has a beautiful voice ... besides it has to be that as it's my own creation of The Italian Job opening sequence ..lol

This absolute and classic scene with the Lamborghina Miura in the Italian Alps!!!

One day I shall own a Miura, drive it through the Alps to Matt Monro ..oh how I wish ..lol

In the meantime a 600RR through the Llanberis Pass shall suffice :-)

I really liked the video, and the music. Why must all biker films have that boring heavy metal music all the time? How do you mount the camera? I like the on-board view when you see the whole cockpit and the riders hands on the bars.

thank you, do you know that has been over 20 years in the making ..lol

I first watched The Italian Job (1969) version with my dad when I was a teen, always loved that Lambo scene and thought one day I
will do my own version, my own stamp as it where ... just never envisioned it would be on a bike, thanks to some serious "time out"
this year I finally got something near what I wanted ... now I have to do it all again in HD when I get it ..lol

I also went to a lot of trouble to get the lighting just right for the trip up the mountain pass during the first half where the song
comes in ... it almost matches the Lambo scene, where it is bright but the mountains are almost in slight silhouette against the
brightness, I was also pleased with the way the sun was glinting along the top of the screen at a nice leisurely pace
which matched the speed of the bike's slow cornering and the song ... a sort of relaxing jaunter and not my usual dash through the
twisties :-)

the second half is going down the pass hence the difference in lighting due to sun position.......... but the first half is exactly what
I wanted and I picked just the right day and time of day :-)

No really where is the camera mounted? I know this is not the first vid of hers and i love the camera view. It is almost like looking out the helmet when your tucked in. I am looking into getting a camera would like good shots like ur jules.

I tried everything ... I don't like helmet mounts because the bike movement coupled with your head movement and the camera just ends up flicking everywhere with sudden movements and makes the video look amateurish or you get sea sick watching them ..lol
I don't like bike mounted either ..tingly vibes often get through and blur the image and jolts in the road are much more severe ... so I mount the camera right between my boobs ... the pictures give an idea but I am only hanging it around my neck here to show you approximate camera position ... the strap goes right around my body and the camera is perfectly cushioned against me, soaks up vibes and road jolts :-) and, because it is further back on me you get the cockpit view included ... it's just worked out really well for me, my height etc.

Now on my very first video it kept popping out, spinning round and filming me instead ..lol ..but now it is strapped tightly around my upper back and the camera pushed firmly back into me, then the jacket zipped up around it all :-)

Go to the drugstore and buy some female hormone, grow a pair of tits, place the camera between them. It will take care of both wind noise and vibrations. :icon_wink:

Great video as expected. You have a real knack for this kind of stuff. Did your brother help with some of the shots? I'm not sure i could get used to riding on roads with no escape routes. Stone walls have to hurt.
