Talking My Only Vice!! (video)

This was the last fast run I did between the Horshoe Pass and Denbigh ... it's
a wonderful road of straights and twisties ... the bike loves it, I love it and
I hope you love it too!! :-)

Once again, speeds were a lot higher than the video shows in places....

Get that volume up high and come ride with me :-)

Were you having an off day Jules? You only passed a handful a cars...lol. J/K

Yet another great vid Jules. As always, I envy your smooth curvy roads and your skill in riding them. Where I live, they are either smooth or curvy, but almost never both. I'd love to come over there and ride sometime, but I'd die in the first mile or two due to my affinity for the righthand lane...lol.

Keep them coming. Some videos showing off the fall foliage over there would be nice. :-)

Thank you Ethan ... if you noticed at two minutes I used the old "think the car away"
trick ..but at 2.09 I just passed one the more fun and old fashioned way ..lol

I wish that trick worked over here everytime I get stuck behind some blue hair out for a Sunday drive and the other lane is packed with oncoming traffic...lol

Couple of things:

  • Nice roads
  • You seem to hug the center line a bit
  • Nice editing ...
  • If you remember when that music first came out you're OLD ... ya, ya, I remember it
  • First time you think while riding "It'll look cool on camera if I do this" then it's time to put up the camera, eh?

  • Nice roads
thank you ... they are to die for, well um ..not literally you understand ..lol

  • You seem to hug the center line a bit
Aye, that, that I do ... dad taught me to ride like that, the roads can be narrow here and I use the whole lane (traffic permitting) ... I can iron out the bends sharpness by going close to the kerbside and allowing myself to drift out to the middle ... it all depends how I feel, sometimes I like to feel the G forces of the bends so run them tighter, others I just iron the road out ... remember you see the road only from the height of my um, yes them ... I see it somewhat higher and the middle of the road often gives me greater views around bends ... I always know exactly what is or isn't coming towards me and if a car is coming a quick flick has the bike away from centre if need be ... also it keeps me away from the edge too as they can be a bit bumpy in parts with debris or gravel :-)

  • Nice editing ...
thank you ..took ages but I am getting the hang of it better :-)

Um, yes ..I am old, *ahem* mid 30's now and I was 15 when we got the last episodes of Vice here ... I loved Sonny Crockett, he was gorgeous!! :-)

Camera is with me in my pocket at all times now and I just pull it out and mount when I feel a road might be fun or there are nice views :-)

I just have to ask what kind of camera are you using? The photos are so crisp and unchoppy.

I am using a 5 year old Sony V3 digital camera, a compact with a 640 X 480
video resolution ... the mounts are the determining factor :-)
