Unhappy 95 cbr1000f swingarm swap

anyone know if a 93 would be s straight swap for a 95 or what years would fit ,dealer has different part numbers for every year but say could be a colour ,bracket pixing or even just a sticker difference ,so no wiser ,think there might be a few minor changes from early ones but no wiser

Same from 89 through 96 (US) through 99 (EU)

In other words straight swap 89 to 99 since you are in the UK

edit : 1993 up may have extra bolt points for holding lines for DCBS (Linked brakes)

Yours being a 95 with a 93 replacement ....no issue

on an 89 90 91 .....this might need checking ...but even so could be "made" to work imo

Default 95 cbr1000f swingarm swap

many thanks for the info, right hand side of mine is a bit rusty so thought it better to prepare a very clean one i found first and just a straight swap then ,seems the idiot that had it before was too tight to but a new chain and suspect it might have worn slider down and was slapping arm, adjusters were fitted upside down and arm was full of water as drain slots were on top, what an ***!

Yeah I've seen that a few times myself, that and battery acid overflow down on to the
swingarm to eat away at it as well. !

As the good man Sprock said ... it's a straight swap from 93 to 95.

However..... we all know that the '95 is the fastest 1000F ever built, so I'm not sure how a 93 swinger would effect acceleration and top end. I'm sure it will slow it down.... just not sure how much.

Default 95 swingarm swap

had a good look at pics of the 93 arm and compared to my 95 ,only difference i can see is that the 93 has one extra fixing bracket welded on just behind the caliper slots, where the 95 has just the one in front if this is any use to anyone in the same position, maybe something to do with the difference in the combined braking on the 95 ,maybe some of the more educated hurricane veterans can educate us lesser mortals on what fits what models and whats common to the range ,am sure it would save a lot of searching

Don't pay any attention to Trout anyway yeah the DCBS brackets vary but a single
or double bracket in any event won't be a show stopper man. I'd use the bracket
nearest !

So what's different about 87 & 88 from the later years, other than the brake caliper mounting ?
