Default suspension build

well boys lately i have been geting really aggressive with my f3 and i am really starting to have some suspension woes, in teory our bikes are built idealy for a 165 pound rider, i weigh in at about 200 pounds, as you can tell this equation goes negative, so i ordered race tech springs for my weight. after talking with the gents at race tech i am also ordering compression and rebound valving for my front forks as well for the rear shock. once i have these parts the suspension will recieve a full rebuild with a nicer oil than comes stock in the showa suspension. the bike should really handle great when all this has been done, will update with pics and news.

sounds awesome, I am a full sized man myself- 6'4" 230lbs. shoulders as wide as a door- i look like a gorilla riding a mini bike, but I want to upgrade my handling also. I am doing amsoil 10wt. fork fluid and new seals to see what happens...

ok so i was really intimidated by these forks but once i had the first one done i realized how simple they are to rebuild, the second only took me like twenty minutes. i installed a complete rebuild kit as well as my racetech fork springs. i cant wait to ride this bike

i have race tech spring in my f4, and springs and emulators in my fzr400. but you cant forget about the back. you need to change the rear spring too. other wise the bike will still handle bad. proabably worse.

Did you need spring compressor to "shoehorn" race tech springs? I have just taken everything apart and noticed that race tech springs are 2 in longer than stock :O I'll be attempting to install them tomorrow so your prompt response is appreciated.

Thanks.
