Default I want fuel injection

i have a 94 600f2 carbeurated and i was wondering if any body has done a fuel injection swap on something like this. could you just use an f4i intake wiring, and ecu? now i know the harness wouldn't just plug in but im not afraid to cut and splice a harness i've been doin it on cars for years. I just want easier quicker full tunability like the fi bikes have.

No offense to your desire to do a project but I think you'll find that its just easier to buy a FI bike.

easier yes by a long shot but finances not so much i'm workin on limited budget, i can't just go drop 3-6 grand on another bike. don't get me wrong i would love to though. and not many people got fi 94 cbr either it also doubles as custom points

I dont think the F4i infectors etc will fit on the F2. Maybe with a custom intake or head, but not a bolt on per say.

Wasn't trying to be one of those, "just buy it" type replies. Sorry I came off that way. Let me elaborate...

Basically what I meant was... the headache & *expense* + the value of your bike would probably equal the price of an older FI bike, like an '01 F4i. So, its apples to apples, so to speak, price-wise. Point is, even w/ your budget constraints, you're going to have into the project, the amount that you could've just purchased a readily available FI bike like the '01 F4i. That is, *if* your conversion is even possible.

Don't let me discourage you, as that was not my intention. I'm all for a good project. I was simply offering up a point of view that you might not have considered. Best of luck to you sir.

Good luck.

i appreciate you being nice and elaborating for me a lil bit and after i've been lookin at parts you r rite i would prolly actually have more in my bike than just lookin round n findin cheap f4i thats been laid down or somethin. and i don't think it is possible unless i get a custom intake or sumthin like playfulgod was sayin in wich case it is outa price range. thanx for your replies

well, less than a grand will get you a nice used f4i engine off of ebay, however I'm not sure on how well it would transfer over into your f2, also you wouldn't really have an f4i since it would still be slower and have worse handling.

If you really want something different, then go for it. But I really think it would be too much work to be worth it. Unless possibly a winter project or on a spare motor. Seems like it would take a while.

Also it all depends on what you can find I mean if you can find a complete f4i engine/wiring/etc. for a few hundred bucks then go for it.
