Did you try to freeze it then heat it up to loosen the bearing? Or try tapping it out from the other side with a long extention. If not you might have to take it to a machine shop to have the bearing removed.

I agree with Val ^. Take it to a shop and have them press it out. I would like to see a write-up if you can finish this. Im pretty sure(just looking at the swingarms on newer bike)you would have to fab a lower shock mount on the f3 frame! Not for sure though.

alrighty... a very long time later i'm back... i was just in too much of a hurry and was trying to get the bearing out the WRONG WAY ... so once i figured that out i also figured out the stock F3 swingarm pivot was WAY too small... and i discovered a nice lil trick, the F3 FRONT AXLE is the same size as the 600rr swingarm pivot ... so i may have made the hole a lil bigger to fit the bolt in... but finding bearings was STILL an issue... the part of the swingarm i narrowed needed a smaller bearing obviously, and the bearing company said i was screwed... also the shock mounts are difficult to make without a welder.......

then i ended up trading my non running f3 (carbs still not on) for an 88 FZR1k (damn rocketship) and rode that around for a few months then sold it to a fellow Wyotech student in FL and Moved back home to the Colorado Mountains, where i am an ATV/ Snowmobile mechanic
