based on my retrofitting project...
ok, i was going to do a write-up after i received our co-membes headlights... because i dont want to peel off my headlights again.. retrofitting took a lot patience, the longest time took me was proper aiming.. and i did not buy all the stuff from that store.. because they are way to expensive, i bought them most from china.. i will sort out stuff what to buy on which store k?

china: Guangzhou HYD Auto Parts Co., Ltd. - projector lens, hid bulb, hid ballast
1.Mini-H1 projectors
2.shrouds of your choice, theres only 3 small ones that can fit the headlight
3.shroud rings (to fit the shrouds properly-some shrouds are bolt-on)
4.H1 hid kit- i have fast bright ballasts (full brightness 3 sec.) your choice
of kelvin rating
5.leds- for demon eyes- (the red on my projector) red blue white amber etc.
your choice 9
6.ccfl- (the Halos) any color same as leds, your choice.
7.ccfl ballasts- to power the halos

TRS- The retrofit source: The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications
1. H7- relay harness for bike (well made) (both headlights run low beams
at same time)
2. the high beam splitters- h7- 9006/9006 (wired to high beam, controlls the
solenoid of the projectors, both high beam in command)

parts store:
1. metal sheet- g .24 (to replace the reflector to mount the projectors)
like the drawing you attached..
2. pair of snips.
3. small screws to screw the projector. to the metal shhet
4. silicone glue..
5. dremel!!!- most important
6. paint- high heat paint, to paint the solenoid and the shield inside
the projector (reflects the color of the leds better, mine is red hh paint and red leds)
- any automotive paint/primer- to paint your shrouds (your choice)
7. a switch- (optional) i bought my handlebar switch from a bike shop

thats all i can think off for now... these were my choices whe i customized everything, if you want it easy, you can also buy ready made projectors but outputs were terrible... plus its hard to customize those ready made ones.. at least you can paint the shrouds (covers the projector and where ccfls are mounted) according to your bikes paint to complete the look..
hope this helps

pics for you guys..

if you have an f4i, it should be ok, you have bigger headlights, easier to retrofit... the links and info i posted above are almost a DIY instruction... i dont have pics on how i built them, i wish i took pics...

Do any cops give you grief on the red headlights? I know they're not red, once the projectors are on. I've gotten pulled over for having "blue lights" and got a FAT ticket lol. I was running 10k HID's until I got the ticket... switched back to halogens now.
