Question 2001 CBR 600 F4i - Mod Question?

Hey Guys,
Its been awhile since I have posted anything. I've been clutchin my bike up more often than I normally do, and holding it at the 12 o'clock position. My worries are that I am going to starve my motor. I dont have the pickup mod done on it yet. I've heard from several sources that it is not needed on the F4i's unless you are riding really long 12 o'clocks. I have also heard that you could over fill the oil and that would take care of it, my concern with that is that it would most like blow out seals. My question is should I do the mod or just leave it alone and pray I dont throw a rod?

Thanks in advance!

I read something about bending the pickup tab back and clocking it 180 degrees. I just over filled mine and didnt have a problem

Most stunters that use the F4i just run 1qt over. I've heard of people doing that for years and it never cause any harm.

But then again I've only seen this in full time stunt bikes. So if you ride for miles and miles then pull one or two quick stunts it may cause you problems.

I dunno bout stuntin but I'd say if it's just a stunt bike, run over. But if you're riding and stunting, do the mod.

Or constantly remember to drain the extra quart and put it back in

I rode daily and did standups daily with a quart over. It was fine
