I've bollocked the mechanic black and blue but he swears he's never even had those bolts off and it wasn't loose like that last time he checked her over. He breathed a massive sigh of relief about it not coming out into the engine...... when I'd let go of his nuts, enough for him to speak!

Why don't you just install a frigging blender in your gas tank and drop wild game and road kill into it. At least you can then claim to be self sufficient.
